Muncie Futbol Club
The Beginning
"A community united by the love of futbol"
The Muncie Futbol Club was created and organized in 2014 by soccer players in the area that enjoy playing in the regular pick-up games frequently played in Muncie but wanted something that was more competitive. We formed the MFC for the purpose of providing the adult soccer players in the Muncie area with the opportunity to consistently play in a competitive adult futbol league. We are a club made up of diverse adults ranging in age from 16 to 76 years old with participants from more than 20 different countries, faiths, and educational backgrounds that are all united by our passion to play soccer!
The Future
Our club's current focus is on providing adults in the Muncie area with a local soccer league to compete in, but we also want to focus on expanding our club in the future. Once the club has been successfully established locally, we plan to organize a travel team to compete in the United States Adult Soccer Association. This team would also travel to compete in other USASA sanctioned tournaments representing the Muncie and Ball State community. We will expand from there to create separate teams to compete in different brackets such as the Open-age group, over 30 group, and the co-ed group. We are currently looking into the possibility of utilizing an outdoor location with lights to accommodate these teams. Additionally, we would like to organize and host an annual tournament in Muncie to showcase the Muncie and Ball State community.
